De acuerdo a recomendaciones emanadas de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (O.M.S), la composición de la vacuna antiinfluenza estacional que se autorizará para su uso en el hemisferio sur para la temporada 2021 deberá contener:
A) Vacuna trivalente; vacunas a base de huevo
- an A/Victoria/2570/2019 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus;
- an A/Hong Kong/2671/2019 (H3N2)-like virus; and
- a B/Washington/02/2019 (B/Victoria lineage)-like virus.
B) Vacuna trivalente,vacunas de base celular o recombinante
- an A/Wisconsin/588/2019 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus;
- an A/Hong Kong/45/2019 (H3N2)-like virus; and
- a B/Washington/02/2019 (B/Victoria lineage)-like virus.
C) Vacuna quadrivalente o tetravalente; vacunas a base de huevo
- an A/Victoria/2570/2019 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus;
- an A/Hong Kong/2671/2019 (H3N2)-like virus;
- a B/Washington/02/2019 (B/Victoria lineage)-like virus; and
- a B/Phuket/3073/2013 (B/Yamagata lineage)-like virus
D) Vacuna quadrivalente o tetravalente; vacunas de base celular o recombinante
- an A/Wisconsin/588/2019 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus;
- an A/Hong Kong/45/2019 (H3N2)-like virus;
- a B/Washington/02/2019 (B/Victoria lineage)-like virus; and
- a B/Phuket/3073/2013 (B/Yamagata lineage)-like virus.
IMPORTANTE: Cada dosis de vacuna deberá contener no menos de 15 microgramos/ HA de cada una de las cepas por cada dosis
